@Gemstone:  UBER, it’s a towncar service. I don’t like using taxi’s so this app is the best!! You know who your driver is going to be and what they are driving and how close they are. No cash is exchanged as it is billed to your card on file. Love it!

@Gemstone:  Ooh great question! I’d love to know if I’m missing anything on my phone.  I have all the standard type ones – Facebook, Pinterest, Yelp, Pandora, My Fitness Pal, Paypal, etc. I’m so boring. hahaha.

@Bribaby119:  UBER is pretty awesome.  DH and I haven’t actually used it since we live in the suburbs, but our friends who live in the city use it a lot. They love it!

@Gemstone:  I have an iPhone and use all the popular apps like FB, Instagram, YT, stuff like that, and all the popular games. My favourite apps though are ones made for musicians on the go – I have a tuner, metronome, flute finger chart, and guitar chord chart that I use regularly.

I have the Samsung S4. Flipboard is a must! Google keep another must. Google Newsstand. Amazon. Office suite pro (wait for it to go on sale, it’s pricy), the Simpsons tapped out if you like games, Twitter (there are tons of Twitter app but I find the native app to be the best)

I’ve just got ton!

I posted this earlier but Google music has tons of free songs everyday until Christmas. I’ve picked up over a hundred since Thanksgiving.

Eat24 is the best thing ever for my mouth and the worst thing ever for what used to be my waist.

It’s a massive compilation of local restaurants/food places that do take-out or delivery! And their full menus are online, and you can do online ordering!

We found a pizza place that gives you a free pizza with every order over $20!

Crackle is a good one for movies, HBO if you have it at home, you’ll also need boat browser if you wanna watch any videos with flash player, and the flash add on.

Viggle. You get points for watching tv, and you can redeem for gift cards & other stuff. (Granted it takes a LONG time to build up enough points for rewards, but still it’s free!!!) I also have the amazon app & a citibank app

Hail-O. Same as Uber, but for taxis. They find you, you know who to expect, and your nominated card can billed automatically inclusive the tip-rate you’ve set. You can see where they are and when they’ll be there and stay warm in the mean time. I live off the thing. No more odering a taxi or whistling or having to carry cash in parts of town you’d rather not. Lifesaver!

Other than that, my bank’s banking app for transfers and balance checks, food logging app with a good database for adding with barcode scanning, gmail, NPR news, mindfulness meditation app, menstrual cycle tracker app (I use Clue), a pomodoro timer, and Moleskine.
