Our Priest has left the parish. I would like to call and speak with the priest but I am not sure what to call him by. His name is listed as Reverend ______ ______, Pastor ? So I don’t know if it is pastor or reverend? All of our former priests were called father _____. Can anyone lend some advice? (Roman Catholic Parish)

@MarieeToBee: I’m pretty sure Catholics don’t use “pastor” as a title. “Pastor” as a title is more a Protestant (Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal etc) thing.
If his name is listed as Reverend, then use that. EDIT: OK saw your update, in that case either “Reverend” or “Father” is ok. You can hardly be faulted for following what the church writes!

I think typically Catholic Priests are Fr. _____. Reverand ________ would be their title, but they usualy go by Father. 🙂
I’m Episcopalian and that is how it works for us, too.

For Catholics, “pastor” is actually the formal role of the “head priest” at a parish, but it’s not a title like Protestants would say “pastor mark.”
