Am I crazy for considering a new foundation and powder 4 days before my wedding? I went into Ulta looking for a better coverage foundation and ended up getting made over in Urban Decay products. They look great on and I’m really happy with how it looks. I didn’t buy them bc they didn’t have the foundation in the right shade, so the other store in town is holding them for me until I get off work.
Now I’m paranoid that trying a new product this close to the wedding is just stupid. I do not have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to different products. It’s been about 30 minutes and I feel ok I guess. My face feels a little different b/c the products are heavier than I’m used to.
Am I stupid for risking a reaction this close? Should I just stick to what I have and know. The coverage isn’t as good, but I know I won’t break out in hives.

If you’ve never had issues with sensitive skin, I wouldn’t hesitate. I mean, if you had a makeup artist come in to do your makeup, odds are she’d use products you might not have tried before, even if you did a trial.

If you trust your skin and know it won’t freak out, sure. To be absolutely safe I wouldn’t use it the days leading up to the wedding (what if you break out?) but on the wedding day, sure.

@The_Future_KB: Unless you have a reaction within 24 hours, I wouldn’t worry about it. But do make sure to wash your face extra good so you don’t break out from wearing makeup heavier than your face is used to.

If you don’t have a history of sensitive skin, it should be fine. FWIW, I used UD foundation on my wedding day and it was fantastic!
