Ok, so when fh and I got engaged, he didnt have much money to spend on a ring. I love the ring I have tho, and it means a lot to me. Now fh is getting me a new ring (actually a bridal set) and he wants me to just say screw the old ring, I’m getting a better one. I am used to my ring and I’m kinda sad it wont be my e-ring anymore. Now dont get me wrong, I loooove the new rings. I wanted a solitaire and I want a simple band. It is exactly what I want but what should I with my original e-ring. Here it is, it will be here thurs. or friday.

You can always wear it on your right hand. One of my friends does that – she got a new set for their 5th anniversary so she wears her original on her right hand.

That’s really pretty, definitely my style!!! Make sure you take some hand shots when you get it, I’d love to see. What about wearing the old ring on a necklace?

I actually just did this as well. We upgraded my ring set. In order to afford the new one, we traded in the old one towards it. I really liked my old one, but I love my new one. 🙂 I have pictures of it and part of me wishes I could have kept it for memories and what not, but it’s no big deal. If you can afford to keep both, I say do it!

the necklace idea is cute. Cant wear it on the other hand, its too small, lol! Might seem strange but it does to me too.

I agree – You can wear your original e-ring as a RHR

My right fingers are 2 sizes bigger than my left, not weird at all. Have it resized. 😉

- Wedding: October 2011 - Bed & Breakfast
Mr. LK proposed with a family heirloom as a placeholder, and I now wear it on my right hand (pinky finger). You coukld get it resized to ba a RHR or you could just wear it on a smaller finger like I do.

WOW. A little overwhelming and something I never thought about. My ring is on the smaller side and Fiance keeps asking if I want a bigger ring. I would have loved a bigger ring to start, but I could never release this ring, it means too much to me.
