Thank you for this post! Ive seen the commercials but I forgot when it was going to start. Looks creepy... lol
When I saw the commercials I thought it was a preview for A&E "Intervention"
@CanadianMermaid: I know! That's what it's like kind of...they send a therapist into the situation I think. Looks interesting anyways!

FI and I were supposed to be on that show. When FMIL found out we were using the money they would pay us for the wedding, she called the agent and told her she absolutely adored me and had no problem with me or my friends who happen to be gay.
Agent called and said there wasn't enough drama, and signed up another couple.
UGH.

I watched both episodes...wow... first, the italian one - how the f did you not realize you were in their personal space and causing problems with their marriage..really? do you ever leave their house? wow..
the second moms voice was enough to make me angry inside, nevermind the crap she was yapping about constantly. why didn't the daughter just tell her to f'n leave? honestly! i'd have been like hey mom...PISS OFF.
My fiance and I have been eyeing this show for months! Watched it tonight and it just makes me thankful that my FILs are awesome!

That sounds like a great show! I love my MIL (most days... she has her moments) and my mom wouldn't get mad at anyone so she's out, but my BFF has the MIL from Hades. I even dispise this woman and I've met her only a handful of times. I'll have to recommend it to her. :)
Yeah, I was in a rage for a couple of months, and FI tried to explain to the agent just how much drama that in and of itself had created, but his mom kept playing the sweet and nice card.

i dont understand why anyone would want to go on the show (meaning the inlaws not their victims). i mean have some self respect and not show the world how big an ahole you would be my main concern

are you my sister??? as my husband says, my mother would have rewritten the bible if anyone bothered to ask her opinion - oh wait, they didnt ask it but she wants to rewrite it anyway because she knows better than everyone else
@eloping: Lol, sounds like my FMIL! She does tend to try to rewrite the Bible. Seriously. She is right and everyone else is wrong. She is the victim, even if whatever it is happened to someone else.
@Rachael432: yeah i hear you. my mom is on the phone in tears to her new friends about how bad her kids are - surprisingly she no longer has any old friends because she has burnt them all with her attitude, people she has know for 50yrs and we consider our aunts & uncles no longer talk to her. i told her last month if i can name 30 people and only 2 talk to you right now dont you think the problem is you and not everyone else - of course im in the wrong ;-)
@eloping: Oh, absolutely. FMIL was kicked out of her brother's house and her sister's house after she lost her apartment...but it had nothing to do with her. Oh no! She complains that FI never helps her, when he paid for her storage and helped her move it 6 times, at least. Sigh.

It's a new show on A&E starting tonight...not sure what time it starts in other areas but it's coming on here at 7:00. I've been watching the commercials and it looks like a real doozy. It's a show kind of like Intervention or Hoarders, where they send therapists in to help situations.
Might make all of the in-laws out there look really good lol! Thought some of you Bees who are having problems in that department might want to check it out!
