Congrats and welcome! I am the first out of my closet group of friends. It has caused some of us to grow apart. I guess that is just how life goes.

Congrats on your engagement! I'm not extremely close to a lot of girls who have gotten married before myself. And my mom hasn't exactly been supportive of me throught it all. So I guess that makes me a sort of trailblazer myself! We can be trailblazers together! lol
Yay I'm so happy for you! I'm in the same boat -- some of his close friends are married, but mine aren't, so as SweetRose put it, we can all be new at this together!

Welcome!!! I might be older (will be 29 in January, eep! lol), but I can sympathize on not knowing what you're doing! LOL! I NEVER daydreamed about my wedding or getting married, or even having kids!!! lol.
Didn't really play with dolls much, either, yet I have two kids and am known to be a great mom (and the neighbors think I'm the neighborhood babysitter... do NOT get me started! LOL!).
Anywhos, this is a GREAT place for for ideas and DIY projects, and figuring out how to plan a wedding!
It's also a great place to vent, chat, and share wedding stuff instead of annoying co-workers, friends, family members, etc. ;) which is part of the reason why I joined!!! LOL! I think my FI is rather glad I can chatter away here instead of boring him with idle wedding chatter and ideas that I'll toss out later, lol.

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this...But hello! I just got engaged this May and officially decided to join TheBee after lurking around for a while ;P
It''s nice to see I'm not the only one getting married before 25 - I'm the first out of all my friends so it's a little intimidating and since I have no one to compare to I really have no idea what I'm doing. I must say, I'm not much of a trailblazer.. Did anyone else go though this?
