Welcome! I am also planning my wedding from a (4 hour) distance. I am a thrifty kind of girl in general! Check out pinterest.com for some more awesome wedding inspiration. Also vistaprint.com is a very budget friendly site with invites, etc. Good luck!
Welcome to the hive! I'm planning for two weddings oddly enough. One in California and one in Florida... you can see we're planning from a really great distance... haha. My best tip is to really know what it is that you want and go for it. Having a close friend at your wedding destination really helps too. I've also found it really helpful to read others reviews about wedding vendors before booking too!
Good luck!

I really love the "conception" part, because it really got them to the point of what was important to the couple.
Thank you ladies! I appreciate the advice and I'm looking forward to checking out the sites!

Hi ladies!
I just found this site a few days ago and now I'm slightly addicted! I'm currently living in Durango, CO but my wedding will be in Cleveland, Ohio on September 29, 2012. It's very exciting!!!
And now for my dilemma - I'm on a serious budget and looking for some inspiration! I've found some websites I'm interested in - recycled bride, once wed, etc.... I want to be as eco and budget friendly as possible.
Any suggestions?? Where do you start and how do you stay thrifty!?
