Welcome!! Was just wondering if you live near the coast (Atlantic or Pacific)?? The reason I ask is your September wedding date is peak hurricane season. I live in New Orleans and Katrina is never far from my mind. We try not to plan big events during peak hurricane season. Just letting you know.
Actually I live in Southern California and am planning a wedding in San Diego haha... We don't really have to worry about hurricanes here ! I lovee NOLA though ! I was actually there for 2 weeks a few months after Katrina. I am secretly hoping that CJ gets stationed there even though I don't really want to leave Cali. But if I went anywhere I would want it to be there :]
Welcome! My FI is USAF and we're planning long distance, me in STL and him in New Mexico where he is stationed.

Welcome to weddingbee! So you are getting married this July and the big wedding is next year? Exciting!
Congratulations! You mentioned an upcoming deployment and I wanted to lend you my ear. My husband deployed a month after we got married (he's still over there in the "sandbox"). Please PM me if you're interested in getting involved in some military forums online or something - having support makes ALL the difference in surviving a deployment, especially when you're married. (We went through our first deployment while we were dating and it's completely different this time around).
Congrats and welcome to the board. I survived planning a wedding w/ a military FI. It wasn't easy, but it can be done. Just try to remember to have PATIENCE! LOL

Hey lovely ladies !! My name is Brittany and I am a future Marine wife !! We are actually getting married July 21st !! But planning a big wedding for May 21st, deployment pending.
