I'm wearing a tight, short, shiney blue dress that's ruched in alllll the right places. I'll probably pair it with silver or black heels, a bangin' clutch, and all the shiny jewelry I own. I'm going to a gala thrown by the fanciest restaurant in town. What's the ATL? I too failed at finding something squiny that was shiny and flattering.
Are you going to like a club/lounge type thing? I would probably wear an Express-type dress, which is my go-to for Vegas and such.
Ours is pretty low key at a friends house; I'm wearing leggings with my knee high boots, sequins tank and long cardigan. Maybe just a sequins sweater but we will see.
Can't go wrong with a cute top, some jeans and a pair of rockin' fuck me pumps. It's that nice happy medium between casual and dressy. You can glam the look up by going with a bolder top that shows off the girls, or you can dress it down by just wearing a cute, but plain scoop neck tee.

We're going to a wedding on NYE (my fiance is a groomsman) and I had a tough time picking out the right dress. I couldn't decide on long vs short or sexy vs demure. And I didn't want to buy another black dress (I always wear black!). Thank goodness for the King of Prussia mall...so many choices! I ended up choosing a deep red, one shoulder dress that is above the knee (but not hoochie short), it has a pretty ruffle along the shoulder strap and top. And lots of rouching makes it very flattering! I can't wait to wear it on NYE and dance with my fiance...Jan 1st is our 3-year anniversary since we started dating. I think as long as you pick an outfit you feel comfortable and beautiful in you'll have a great night! Have a wonderful new years all :-)

Thank you ladies! I honestly don't know where all we'll go. My college football team is playing in the Chick-fil-a Bowl so a bunch of friends are going up there. But as far as going out, I'm sure we'll end up in Buckhead at the end of the night. I thought about jeans with a sexy top and pumps but don't know if that is too casual. Ugh these kind of things bug me. I hate picking out clothes for specific occasions.

I'm heading over to the ATL with my new boyfriend and some of our friends for the weekend and can't decide what to wear. What kind of outfit are you putting together to ring in the new year? I'm really loving the sequin trend going on but can't seem to find a sequin dress that I love. Thinking maybe a red dress of some sort with nude heels or a skirt paired with a blazer...I don't know! Help me out girls!
