I love the idea of silver wreaths surrounding a hurricane or apothecary jar full of ornaments and/or with a pillar candle!
Thanks Peachplum09! Sadly, our venue will not let us use candles (even unlit)... it makes things so much more difficult!
Make a wreath with the ornaments. Place a vase or hurricane glass inside the wreath and use battery operated flameless candles in the vase. They are very realistic now.
Or, use those large martini glasses(but paint the inside of the glass) and your ornaments like this:
