I am (and have been). 31 lost so far, 135 to go. It's easy to get discouraged, especially if you're focusing on the numbers so try not to do that: instead, look at it as getting healthy. With Weight Watchers, you theoretically should be eating more than enough - they have tools that show you how to maximize your points, definitely use those so you're getting the bang for your buck with points. Find activities that you enjoy to incorporate exercise into your regular routine (if you're looking for a really fun calorie burn, I *highly* suggest Zumba!). If you enjoy what you're doing, it'll seem less like a chore and more as a fun thing you do.
Best of luck :) Even if you don't lose all of the weight, increased activity and healthier nutrition habits will help you look and feel better. Make sure you take your measurements once a month to track your progress there, as well.
I am..I think Ive put on about 8 pounds...bleh! Im not weighing myself for 2 weeks so I dont totally crush my self esteem. So for the next 2 weeks Ill be hauling ass and not eating all the crap Ive been eating for the holidays.
Thats my plan as well, I want to get 15-20 lbs off, I have till sept just hope i can do it! If you find any good tips to stay motivated and drop the lbs let me know!
I'm with ya! I started WW on the 27th with about 30 lbs to lose. We can do it!
Me! I joined WW on 10/15 and have lost 18lbs. I plateaued over holiday because I got lazy with entering points, but I fully intend to get back on the wagon this week. I'd like to lose 30 more lbs but would be perfectly happy with 20.
I'm planning to lose 26lbs (12kg) by our wedding with WW. I joined ages ago but have been so slack. Today I ate 3 brownies (21pp!!) but I tracked them which is an accomplishment for me because normally I don't track my little binges. Baby steps!
I'm with you guys. Last year I lost 60lbs and still need to lose another 15. Now that I got engaged over the weekend the weight loss is even more important. I've done weight watchers (although the 60lb weight loss was all me) but I'm ready to have some people to be accountable to :-) )
@missbumblebee: omg well done! do you have before&after pics? :) I need to lose 60lbs too...though it sounds more doable when I say 5lbs a month...what did you do to lose all that weight?
Hmm I'll have to see I probably can come up with before and after pics I'll have to look. I think the biggest thing for me was first, I don't buy ANY junk food anymore so I can't eat it if it isn't in the house. Next, I've learned to eat when I'm hungry and not when I'm bored (that was a HUGE issue for me). Third, I eat healthy but don't deny myself either if there is a dessert or something I want I will eat it but just not as often as before. I think when I denyed myself then I felt deprived and it didn't stick. The biggest things is realizing that it's not a diet, it's a LIFESTYLE change.
I've lost 10 pounds on Weight Watchers so far! It's a great program and seems to really work. Good luck with your weight loss!
Best of luck! I've also put on weight from work, but I think we can do it! Community will help!

Hey bees!
Anyone else make a New Years resolution to lose weight for the wedding? I've gained about 15 lbs over the last 2 years from a stressful and busy job, but now it's less than 6 months till our wedding! I just joined weight watchers yesterday and feeling kind of down (and hungry!). But I know I need to do this NOW before its too late. Anyone else in this boat?
