have you considered any of the boroughs? You could prob swing that price in Brooklyn or Queens in a more traditional space. If you are open to restaurants check out Thallassa in Tribeca. My friend had a very small wedding there and it was great and she prob spent around 10k.

ok so i might have got myself a bit in over my head! Im from Sydney Australia and my fiance and I are planning a destination wedding in new york city in September 2012. We have about 40 people and need to find a venue to have our reception, we are looking for something with a view of the city or a rooftop or an outdoor terrace - Our budget is also small! We would like to spend under 10k for venue and food - any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
