  • Wedding: March 2014

@Miss Circe:  This is a great idea! Here is my list so far. Everyone I have dealt with has been lovely and professional so far. It will be nice to see some other NZ weddings Smile

Wedding date: 22 March 2014

Ceremony Venue: Old Saint Paul’s Church Wellington

Reception Venue: The Boatshed Wellington

Catering: Fine touch

Celebrant: Don Manning

Photographer: Brady Dyer

Make Up Artist: One of my BM’s is a make up artist.

Hairdresser: Will get it cut as per usual Get Funked but doing my updo on the day.

Bridal Gown: Brides on Thorndon (Essense of Australia d1287).

Shoes: Tony Bianco ordered from theiconic.com.au

Transport: Devine Rentals

Band: The Coppertones

Gift Registry: Flight Centre

Groom’s suit: Barker’s

Wedding Bands (&engagement ring): Michael Hill

Favours: Probably the cake as the catering comes with full dessert and that way I know it will be used / not a little trinket that will be chucked away.

The rest is yet to be booked and confirmed. Looking at cakes and flowers next week.

ETA Our ceremony venue comes with a co-ordinator and my Celebrant is my step Grandad so he has been a great help so far.

@Miss Circe:  Thank you!

I must admit the price of flowers is what is making my eyes water. I don’t really have a theme, but my colours are navy and yellow. We are planning on having sunflowers and navy BM dresses.

I love the idea of swing dresses! I was thinking that as well but not sure where to get them online. I might do mismatched dresses as well as I have four bridesmaids!

I love your shoes btw!

@Miss Circe:  Thank you!  One of the BM’s is American and owns a beautiful swing dress from Betty Page.

On another note, where are all the other NZ brides!? I joined weddings.co.nz but nobody ever posts. WB is always new and interesting!
