Hello! I've been sort of lurking here for a little while but decided now is the time to actually join.

A little on us - My boyfriend and I have been together for about two and a half years but have a pretty decent history with each other. He was my brother's best friend for years and had a thing for me. All of that fun stuff. We're both somewhat young. I'm 21, he's 24. We've been living together for about the past year.

Anyway, this year we were thinking about celebrating Valentine's Day. Neither of us ever cared for it before but it just seemed like something to do. He informed me he was planning on getting me a serious present but I didn't think too much into it. Or I didn't until Monday when I was playing with his phone (not snooping, I swear). He got an email. I didn't think and opened it up. It was a shipping confirmation on the engagement ring that he knew I wanted. So, marked that sucker as unread and have been horribly excited all week. It came in today. I pretended not to know because I know it would kill him if he knew I found out. He told me it's my Valentine's gift. So, yay! The next ten days are going go be so ridiculous.

Sorry if this post has any horrible flaws or anything of the like. I'm using my ipod for this, so it's a slight pain in the butt.

It's just a simpleish ring from Zales. I'm not much of a ring wearer, so I didn't want anything too big. I'm sort of surprised he actually bought it because he was constantly trying to talk me into larger ones from the local jewelry stores. I really wanted him to get something cheaper than what they'd have, though. It's about the most me ring I've ever come across anyway.
