Congratulations on having a timeline! You sound like me and my SO, but our age difference is bigger. I am 19, he is 23. I am hoping to be engaged next year. We shall see!

Thank you all! I'm so glad I finally took the plunge and stopped being a lurker! - @shewolf it has kept me sane the last few months it is only last night the whole waiting process has become really positive. I'm such a planner I love a timeline :)
@ohcaptainmycaptain - I hope so for you too! But judging from your guesstimate wedding date, you will be married about a year before me regardless :)
@parism: well.. my guesstimate is completely off. we really have no clue when it's going to be. with school and student loans involved, it could very well be a few years after that. which sucks for multiple reasons. i'm just doing my best to enjoy his company and not worry about it :)

Hi everybody,
I am a long time lurker but I am so glad I found WeddingBee - it actually helped chill me out through this whole waiting process!
Bit of background info - we are pretty young, I turn 20 tomorrow and he is 21 in Feb. We have been dating for 4 years and living together for 3. All our friends are just waiting for us to get engaged. I have the whole wedding planned on Pinterest and have had wedding fever so badly I've become an unoffical wedding planner for all my friends / acquantances! I LOVE weddings.
I was a bit stresed thinking he'd never do it, but about a month ago we went and I picked out my ring and he is dropping hints it is "soon". Yesterday I told him that I have a date in my head and if he doesn't propose by then, I will propose :) He said give him until Feb to do it as a surprise and then I can "nag him every day". YAY THAT MEANS NOT LONG!!!!! So I have vowed to shut-it-up but before I did I mentioned I thought he would do it on my bithday and he said he had considered it, so even that in itself is AMAZING since he is the most unorganised person and I plan everything for both of us.
And tomorrow is my birthday, spending the day on the beach with him.
I wish every waiting day was this good :)
