Thank you all for the welcomes. I had surgery to remove an extra bone in my foot that has been causing me problems. I had been dreading it but know I'm ok with having some free time to myself.
Congrats! I'm glad your surgery went well and welcome to the bee! As someone said earlier, be prepared to spend a lot of time here, it's very addicting!
Let me tell you all more about myself. I'm 25 and I work as a accountant and my fiancee is a police officer.
The healing process for my foot will take awhile sadly. I'm a runner and particpated in dance for years so it took a toll on my foot and I should have had the surgery when I was in high school but I was stubborn and I ended up causing some tendon damage which was repaired. I will be using crutches for four weeks. Then I will get a walking cast for another four weeks followed by 2-4 using a walking boot.

Keep us posted. Dates are starting to get booked for next year already. Saturdays get booked first.

We got engaged on the same weekend and I'm also planning a wedding for next year. We just booked ours for May! Congrats, and good luck with the planning and the healing foot!

Hi again thank you to all the recent welcomes. My foot has been healing well and I got a walking cast on Monday. My fiancee and I have started to talk more in depth about the wedding.

Hi everyone. I just go engaged to my fiancee on July 31st. We have been dating since we were 16. I had foot surgery yesterday so I'm currently on bed rest and I was doing some research on weddings and found this site. We are aiming to be married earliest is July 2011 and latest is October 2011.
