I’m new here and have been looking around the site and boards for a few weeks, but I thought an intro would be nice. My FI and I got engaged about 3 weeks ago ( on the 1st December, which is the first day of summer here), he proposed under a waterfall near the great ocean road in Victoria, Australia. It was such a beautiful moment and my knee were shaking so much I thought I would fall in the river ( I didn’t thank goodness). He proposed with an emerald cut sapphire surround by diamonds. I love my ring, but to be honest I’m not a huge girly girl and I have been quite taken back about how some people have reacted to my ring, but nevermind 🙂
Also I’m not even thinking about the wedding yet, I wouldn’t even know where to begin planning, which is why I joined this site! So please intro yourself, I’d love to get to know you all xox

What a great place for a proposal!!! And the ring is a knockout. Be proud of the comments. You don’t need to be a girlie girl to enjoy something beautiful and nice.
