hahah the joke in our house is that I always know when he’s been in the kitchen, because all the cabinet doors are open.

We’ve been living together for about a year.  It was a little hard the first few months, but it’s gotten easier.  My main issue is that I really miss being alone.  Sometimes it’s just nice being ALL ALONE.

I guess I’m the messy one.  He’s always all over me trying to get me to organize things and be neater.  I’m not that messy, just not ANAL like him!  Sorry my shampoos aren’t alphabetized.  🙂

This drives me nuts too! One night I was cooking and DH came into the kitchen to look for something then left and I turned around and smacked my head on a cabinet door! I went crazy! Lets just say after a dinner in silence with an ice pack on my forehead he’s been paying more attention! Good luck!

We don’t live together yet, but he is currently staying at my house while my parents are away. What drives me nuts is he doesn’t put away his dishes. He sometimes doesn’t even take them to the kitchen, I guess he is used to his mum cleaning up after him.

Hahahaha! Your post made me laugh!! My husband, thank goodness, is the neat freak of our family. I thought I was clean and organized! Nope! He got me beat!!!! Lol. Some little pet peeves of mine I have had to deal with and its no big deal, you get used to it as time goes along! Lol.

He has one chore-clean the bathroom. I take care of everything else. Alas his definition of a dirty bathroom and mine are very different. I finally gave in yesterday after weeks of protest and cleaned the darn thing. Ahh! 🙁

Oh my…good luck. I have not been able to beat this out of my man. Now I just come home and go to the kitchen where I shut all the cupboards and scream out a little of my rage so I can remember that I still like this man.

Ummm…. just close the cabinet doors if it bothers you? Doesn’t seem like anything to get annoyed about.

I lived with a roommate that never closed the cabinets. It made me batshit crazy. It makes no sense to open a cabinet and not close it.

SO leaves the cabinet doors open too! Drives me bonkers! He also doesn’t clean up his dishes most of the time. His desk, in his office/man cave of a basement is an absolutely disaster. I don’t go down there unless I do laundry but I refuse to touch his desk. I just shake my head at it.

ETA: It drives me crazy because then the real LiliKitty thinks it’s something she needs to explore. She knows she’s not suppose to be up on the counter, but it seems she can’t help herself if there’s a wide open cabinet.

My roommate does this too!  WTF!?!  It makes me see red too.  How lazy can you be that you leave all of the cabinets and drawers open?  One day I found he had left them open and I just lef tthem open so when he went back into the kitchen he walked smack into an open cabinet door.  The cabinets stayed closed for a while after that but he has started leaving them open again recently.  I try not to complain because it usually means he put away the dishes and I don’t want to discourage him from putting away the dishes (even though he doesn’t put them all away correctly but that’s a rant for another post.)
