@forthebirds13:  I personally would try to change the date. I think back to the time my daughter was two months old and I was exhausted and not in good physical shape, I wouldn’t want to do it then.

I had a c-section with my first and it would have been incredibly difficult at 8 months out to wear any kind of dress with boning or being fitted or anything, not to mention I was still a little puffy.

I think 2 months is cutting it a little close.  I mean, I would have *made* it, lol, so you don’t *have* to cancel/push back, but if you have the option, I’d probably bump it back a few weeks if possible.  You may have to change your dress as not everyone loses the weight right away.

Also, some really struggle with the change in sleep schedules, and if you’re one of them, you may not enjoy your day as much as you could from exhaustion.

@forthebirds13:  I had a c-section and a pretty rotten recovery with my first (a lot went wrong to lead the the recovery and I had post partum depression).  So, I would base my decision on “worst case scenario”, like you have a rough delivery, a hard recovery, etc.  I would maybe shoot for August if you want to stay in summer or maybe September if you are doing an outdoor thing and don’t want to be at the height of it.

You could also move it up, if you wanted?  It usually takes longer to show the first pregnancy.  A winter wedding could be really lovely?

I would move the date either up by 6 months or back by 4 months!

Congrats! There is nothing wrong with postponing it until 2015.

I agree that moving it up or back by a few (or several) months might be a good idea. More than anything, I think it might give you peace of mind so that you won’t be quite so worried about cutting it close. And congratulations on your pregnancy!

@forthebirds13:  I know that everyone is different but from breastfeeding/working out/counting calories I was able to lose all my baby weight within 4 months. My daughter however did not sleep through the night until about 8 months and it really starts to wear on you after a while.

@forthebirds13:  no problem! Plus you can have a cute ring bearer or flower girl if you wait a year.
