A few weeks back I posted for some opinions on whether to keep and reset a family diamond or go for a larger stone (since the family heirloom stone was smaller than what we were looking at). After some thinking, I decided to stick with the heirloom. I just got the stunner back in her new setting and I couldn’t be happier. Sorry that I don’t have a picture of it on my hand, we aren’t engaged yet so he didn’t want me to spoil the moment of trying it on for the first time 😉
Thank you to everyone who shared opinions when I was first deciding! I am so happy with how it turned out.

smac423: Oh my goodness!! It is so, so beautiful. I think it was gorgeous in its original setting, but the new one really shows off your beautiful, beautiful center stone. Hopefully, it won’t be much longer before that lovely lady is on your finger!
