Just got this email today and it is such a nice idea.
The Chopping Block stores are having a special event where you can drop off your old used knives and they will shrpen them and donate them to a local soup kitchen. I thought this would be so perfect for those of us who are getting nice new knives as wedding gifts! Here is the email I got:
Get rid of your drawer full of old knives for a good cause. Drop off your used knives to either location during business hours in April. We will sharpen them and donate them to a local soup kitchen, which can put the old blades to good use.
