How did your wedding day makeup hold up?  Any smears, runs, or did you need a touch-up?

    If not, share your secret!

If so please share your lessons so our upcoming brides will know what to do to maintain their flawless face!

I went against what I had heard and used Mineral Make up. LOVE IT. I think the brand she used was True. And my lipstick and gloss was Mac.

The best part- she gave me the lipstick and gloss and everytime I wear it, I think about our wedding day.

I also went against all the advice I got and wore bareminerals.  It lasted all day!  It was the hotest day in Georgia, reached 103!  And my makeup held up all day, all through the night, and was honestly still hanging in when I got out of the bed the next morning!

Mine held up great!  I added 2 hours to the make up artists time so she could be there between the ceremony and reception for touch ups and I only used her once!  The rest of the night it didnt smudge at all (and I usually get the eyeliner gooped up in the corners of my eyes and underneath).  My lipstick didnt come off that much either except for the gloss.  They used all Mac products.

My makeup artist used MAC and Jane Iredale products and they held up really well.  I just blotted and powdered my face and put on lipstick a few times after the ceremony and during the reception and I think I looked fine.  No smearing, but then again, I didn't cry!  Careful when you hug people if you're short, I left some makeup on the shoulder of one of the groomsmen's jackets when we were all hugging after the ceremony.

Good conversation!!!!! Interesting. I am going to have my mu person stay for in between just in case I need a touch up too. My artist has said there's no way my mu will go anywhere .. just might need more lips ... but to make me happy she'll be there =)
