@Mrsgurzakovic:  How about Coney Island? You can go on some rides, eat hot dogs at Nathan’s for dinner and hang out on the beach or the boardwalk!

@Mrsgurzakovic:  Hey! I live on Staten Island too! My fiance and I love DUMBO and Williamsburg in Brooklyn. You could check that out. I’m not sure what you guys are into, but Barcade is in Williamsburg which is a bar with old arcade games (they don’t serve food though). If you want to go out to eat, ReBar in Brooklyn is beatiful. I haven’t eaten there, but been to their bar area for drinks and love it there. Walking around DUMBO is really nice, there is a chocolate store right down the street from ReBar, and other cute stores along the waterfront. You can also walk across the Brooklyn Bridge there.

@Mrsgurzakovic:  Oh nice! It’s really fun.

Also – walking over the Brooklyn Bridge around sunset can be fun! Or you can go to Governor’s Island and rent bikes – there’s no traffic so it’s easy and fun to bike ride there. What else do you and your DH like? Outdoorsy stuff? Food? Museums?

Another SI- Bee here! I agree with the posts above- Barcade is awesome! Also, take a walk down Smith Street in Brooklyn, do a little shopping, try some of the restaurants there. Head to Park Slope, maybe visit the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens then head to 5th and grab some lunch and or drinks.  Welcome to the neighborhood! If you haven’t already, definitely check out Fort Wadsworth in Staten Island and the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical gardens- SO beautiful!

@Mrsgurzakovic:  Why not explore Staten Island!??! Snug Harbor is beautiful, and its so much fun to go to a minor league game and see the SI Yankees play! You can, always, take the SI Ferry to downtown Manhattan, too!
