Me, too! Where are you girls getting married? We're having our ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose in Hampstead.
Hi Girl, I just signed up for weddingbee. soooo i am a bit lost, but i am also a NH bride. Maybe you can help me figure all this out! haha
Yay! More of us! We're getting married in Central Park, well..legal ceremony in NH then big ceremony in Central Park...location TBD in NH..probably Portsmouth area..where we live
Granite Rose is gorgeous! I work at a hotel that has beautiful weddings and use to be the banquet manager so I've seen it all! Now I oversee the corporate groups and high profile guests...

@leelee: I LOVE Portsmouth! I'm sure anywhere you choose will be beautiful. :) I do love the Granite Rose, but it's far enough out of the way that we're having the ceremony and reception there. Not sure what I'm going to do about the hair/makeup! We can't afford to have someone come out to us, which leaves either Manchester or Nashua, unless you guys know anyone in Salem.
@Soon2be: I second that--you'll love it here! Welcome! Where are you getting married?
Hope; I'll ask the other catering managers at work if they have ideas about hair/makeup in that area, they handle the weddings so theyre a wealth of knowledge!
I am getting married in Grafton, NH. My home church has been building a new one for the past 3 years and it is finally done - perfect timing for me! :)
It is a beautiful 2.5 million building. We are having the ceremony out side (it is on a couple hunrded acres with a steam), and the reception will be in the santuary inside. It is a bit backwards, but its just how it all worked out! I am looking to purchase about 37 white round table cloths, does anyone know where i can get them for a good price?? Thanks!! I do already love this place .... its addicting!

Soon2be: check out the classifieds, look at the categories, you'll find tablecloths listed..I've seen them in the past....are you looking for cloth? it's cheap to rent them....Party places have them in stock..
@hope1275: I got married this past June in NH. I had my hair done at Bella Viaggio which is on Rte 28 in Windham. I loved how my hair turned out and the salon is great (they also do makeup). The link to my blog is in my profile, you can check out some pictures. If you do decide to go with them, book super early so you get the time you really want, they fill up quickly. I booked my hair appointment 8 months out.

I'm new to this board too and just saw this post. I'm getting married in NH in May at the Bedford Village Inn. Still looking for a florist, cake, hair and makeup...but not stressing. Any recs would be much appreciated! What I've found the most strange is that the cake places I've gone to in Boston (where I live) are cheaper than the ones in New Hampshire.
Hi! I'm getting married at the Mt. Washington hotel in July! Looking for any/all helpful hints or comments anyone has had with the hotel. Stephanie Wales is my photographer, the Colours Band is our entertainment, and I'm still researching florists.
Hey ladies - I got married in October at the Mountain View Grand in Whitefield NH. I can't recommend the venue enough!
Also my sister got married at the BVI 3 years ago....it was also wonderful. Hair and makeup - Signature Style (we used for my sister's wedding) and Not So Plain Janes will both travel to you.
Mrs. Blondie - Mt Wa is very close to MVG and I have some northern NH suggestions if you need them!
