@ontbride:  I haven’t had personal experience there, but it looks like it’s a great choice! It’s so pretty and intimate!

@ontbride:  We are planning an elopement in Ontario and we looked at both of those options.  They weren’t for us. We are thinking about a resort like Deerhurst or an Inn now.

I got married at Niagara Falls at the park over looking the falls…..No regrets what so ever! I didn’t use the two providers you mentioned, but really….I don’t think you can go wrong!

@ontbride:  There were a bunch of different packages….You could get married indoor at the chapel, outdoor at the park, on a boat at the bottom of the falls almost DIRECTLY next to the falls themselves (not for the traditional wedding dress bride, you have to wear a rain coat to keep from getting wet)……look around on the net, there is all kinds of stuff. It was really beautiful, to say our vows with the falls right behind us, and the pics were great! I’d upload some, but I’m having puter trouble >:o After we got married, we went to an italian restaraunt called Casa Dioro. I highly recommend it, the food was fantastic. If you do get married at Niagara, please post pics! I’d love to see them.

Hi @ontbride:  The Niagara Region is such a great place to get married.. so many options.  And such an incredibly GORGEOUS area… If I was you, I’d look at outdoor options over indoor ones… there are so many in such incredibly unique settings:

On the Maid of the Mist – At the Falls – In numerous Parks – along the Niagara Parkway – in Historic Niagara-on-the-Lake – or at one of the many Wineries in the region.  Even at the top of a Viewing Tower, Ferris Wheel, or in a Helicopter !!

With soooo many choices, a Hotel, Banquet Hall, or Church or Chapel would be a lot farther down the list for me.

If you are looking for more info (which ones) and I can dig out the respective websites.

Hope this helps,

@ontbride:  They provided photographs, but they weren’t professional(part of why I’m renewing my vows, I’m splurging on pro pics). I imagine you could find a pro in the area to come do photos. Good luck and congrats on the upcoming wedding. Keep us posted!

@kristen182:  the canadian side is better. the buffalo side is just unimpressive.

i love the little log chapel. it’s so adorable. if we were staying in the area, i’d elope there.
