Hi! So, my fiance and I have decided we want a simple church wedding and reception. 120 people, 1:30pm, heavy hors d’eourves in the fellowship hall for a couple of hours. The question is how I should decorate the fellowship hall. I want it to be nice – I mean, I don’t want my out of town guests to feel like they flew to Atlanta to eat meatballs for two hours, but it is a church, so it’s not going to be a huge party. No dancing (the room’s not big enough, and we don’t dance), and no alcohol, so I figured that left it up to the food and decor. I don’t know if we can afford a dinner or cocktails for the family later, as we won’t be able to afford a venue, or even a private room in a restaurant (big families). Any suggestions for how to have a nice church reception?
