@MissGeeBee:  I love Ceasar’s. Its a nice place and mid-strip so its a great location for going out. They have good restaurants and clubs

@MissGeeBee:  Planet Hollywood is fun, however, not sure about the classiness. I loved it, great location, centre strip, lots of food and shopping options and everyone was quite young.  We upgraded to a corner suite and it was lovely to look at the bellagio fountains and the eiffel towel at night!

If you want nice, fun and younger with a lot of class, the Cosmopolitan would be a good choice, but it may be a kinda pricy.

It really depends on your budget.

The New York is good and it’s in the thick of the strip, the Rio is fun they have great shows and the rooftop bar is fun, The Horseshoe is fun in that it’s downtown and old school Vegas.

@MissGeeBee:  Mandarin Oriental is the best for incredible luxury and a Zen vibe with no casino. My favorite hotel experience ever. We spent Christmas there and it was just gorgeous. It’s right in City Center, so if you want casino/nightclub action, it’s all easy to get to.

Cosmopolitan is a great combination of the over-the-top decor, with a hip, young vibe. Awesome restaurants, music, and club scene. The views are amazing. The pools are great, but a bit smaller than others. I stayed there for my bachelorette trip and had a wonderful time.

The Wynn is more classic Vegas luxury, without being too theme-y. Also great restaurants, but is much larger than Cosmo, with amazing shopping, huge pools.

ETA: Around Christmas, many pools are closed, so you might not want to base your decision off of the pool scene!

@MissGeeBee:  If you afford it, The Wynn.  Aria, Vdara, and the Bellagio are also really nice.

we stayed at the Stratosphere and it was pretty good. there are three amusement park rides on top of the building, so even if you don’t stay there, definitely check it out!

I stayed at the Cosmopolitan for my bachelorette weekend.  Awesome vibe, great restaurants, it’s young and sexy and alot of fun.  Marquee is located there.  There is always a famous DJ spinning.

I recommend going there!

I like Mandalay Bay, all rooms are suites (different sizes) & several night clubs – has a “beach” during seasonal months. Part of the MGM group.

I’ve stayed at the Flamingo, MGM Grand, Luxor, and the Bellagio. My favorite was the Bellagio! Hands down! No contest. They had just updated their rooms when we stayed there last year, and it was gorgeous. The bed was snugly and perfect, the room was quiet, and the bathroom was HUGE. It was all marble and the shower was a little glass room that would probably fit 5 people if you were so inclined. Mind, it was also the most expensive of the 4.

We just back from the Bellagio – meh.  I would not consider Bellagio five star hotel at all. I’ve stayed at Bellagio, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton (closed now), Mandalay Bay and the Venetian. I have gone to Vegas a lot for different business trips.  I would say that all of the hotels were about the same in terms of rooms, services, restaurants, etc but Four Seasons and (Mandalay bay) FS is actually in Mandalay Bay are at the end of the strip, not so convenient. DH and I were just commenting that we were most impressed with Ceasars and would like to try it next time.  Best wishes!
