Just had my fitting after alterations – this photo is with the train OUT, but the bustle is amazing and it will be bustled after the ceremony.
Nordstrom Bridal Boutique was amazing (Nordstrom is always amazing!)
What do you think?????
I haven’t chosen a sash yet, just threw that one on, but I am definitely thinking SPARKLEY! Any suggestions? I also haven’t chosen shoes!

@mck123: First of all you look great! I tried on a couple Nicole Miller dresses – loved how comfortable they are.
If you do a sash, I think sparkly is the way to go!

Love it with the sparkly sash 🙂

So pretty! I loved Nordstrom Wedding Suite. They had a blingy belt thing that I tried on that I think would look nice with that dress. I don’t know the brand but this is the belt. The one you have on in that pic looks great too.

Thank you thank you! I’m glad y’all agree that sparkly is the way to go! It is such a comfy dress and very simple – very me! The alterations totally enhanced the dress – I had it taken in a tiny bit in the middle seam in the back (to make it a little tighter at the booty, but not overly tight at all). The length was obviously shortened as well, they did an amazing job.
I’ve heard good things about finding sashes on Etsy – has anyone had luck with that? Found a few sashes at Nordstrom but at $400+ dollars, they are a little pricey!
Can’t decide on nude shoes or sparkly – I want to be able to wear them again (often!!!). I love the Jimmy Choo Vamp in Nude:
Thanks for your suggestions already – and your positive remarks! I appreciate them!

Beautiful!! I was admiring that dress online before I got mine. Never tried it on, but it’s so pretty!!

Love the dress! You look gorgeous! IMO you should consider a blingy belt like this:
One where it isn’t straight across. I think this shape looks great with the sweetheart neckline.

@mck123: Beautiful dress and it fits you like a glove. I love its simplicity and elegance. I would definitely do a sparkly sash, I received some good suggestions here:
One bee I think used rhinestone appliques from here, sewn onto her dress:
I believe that’s where a lot of etsy sellers buy their rhinestone bits and pieces for the sashes, so if you are at all crafty I’m sure you could just buy one, and glue/sew it onto a length of grosgrain/silk ribbon, even horsehair ribbon.
Re shoes, I was going to suggest Choos! I love the Vamps, they come in a sparkly silvery/champagne which would be perfect for a wedding and still re-wearable?
