I recently tried this dress on at the Nicole Miller store. I really loved this dress and the unique texture of it. I have recently done some research on it and all the pictures that are coming up do it no justice at all! I am now worried that it photographs poorly and looks cheap. I want to be sure it looks quality before purchasing. Please let me know if any of you bees have purchased this dress and been happy or and already married bees that have seen their pictures, have you been happy?

I love Nicole Miller dresses, I think they look simple and classy. Just because they are not overly decorated or anything doesn’t mean they look cheap. You are right though that I can’t see the texture on the dress in the photo that you posted, but it is pretty far away.

I wore a different Nicole Miller gown and adored it, but I did try this one on at her store in Soho. I have to be honest, the cut was great, but I hated the fabric. It just seemed matronly to me given that the silhouette was was sleek and modern. It just didn’t make sense to me. Is there somewhere near you that you can see it and try it on? I think it’s a very personal decision and I will say that when I picked my dress, it was nothing I expected I would wear. It’s about the right dress for the right person.

@suttonista: Thank you. I did try it on in soho also. I actually did like it but now seeing it in other peoples pictures it looks cheap. Im gonna keep thinking about it and maybe look at it again.

I tried it on at the store and fell in love with it. If anyone is selling this dress second hand, I would be interested.

@AmandaBiscuit: Hi Amanda! I wore this dress for my wedding and LOVED it! I’m just now ready to part with it. What size were you looking for? I have pictures of me wearing the dress if you are interested?
