I am having a decemeber wedding. the wedding is to start at 5:30 pm so it will be dark when we are leaving the church. I am wondering what to toss at the end. I want somehting that will show up in pictures during the night? Any suggestions?

Our venue was historical so we were extremely limited in what they’d let us do (no sparklers, bubbles, confetti, or rice). We ended up going with dried lavender and it actually showed up really nicely in the pictures (it looked like snow!), plus it smelled AMAZING.

You should dlefinitely try to do the sparklers!! Pictures for it are amazing! Or you could do chinese lanterns.

I think sparklers would be your best bet!

I second dried lavender!! It looks amazing. Plus your photog should use flash so anything should show up. Sparklers… yeah they tend to go out and just not work a lot of the time. Glow Sticks are neat too!

another vote for sparklers. i wish i could do them! our venue’s rules basically rule out everything

I am so scared to use sparklers due to the fact I dont trust them not to burn my dress or the rented tuxs…
Do you have any pictures of the lavender? I think it would like neat since the wedding is so close to christmas.
How would the glow sticks work?
I want it to be different and unique. I am from a small town and I want our wedding to be different than everyone elses. know what I mean?

Bubbles! It was a complete last minute thing for us, but I’m so glad we did it! I love the pictures of us leaving the reception.

What about some sparkley confetti? I bet the camera flash would make it sparkle and look really cool in the pictures.

Glow in the dark bubbles! Glitter would also be really pretty but so messy…
