Have you tried to sit down with your fiance and with her to discuss how you will still incorporate her in the important planning details? Maybe discuss including her on interviews with vendors, bridal shows, etc.?

Hi
I am planning to get married next year and my FI has decided to ask his dad to be his bestman - however my FI stepmum is not happy about this as because me and her have not seen eye to eye over the years and I am quite close to my FI mum his stepmum sees this as a sight on her based on the fact that she sees that we have included his dad and he will be required to spend a lot of time with his son though the day leaving haer on her own.....and this is even before we start proper planning.
