- Wedding: June 2013
Our wedding is Sunday.
My fiance has worked the last 21 days straight, he’s exhausted and miserable.
I picked up my dress Monday. It has cap sleeves and a keyhole back, and she effed up the back, making it half the size it was, and I didn’t realize it until I got home. I have no time to go back, and flipped out. Luckily my neighbor came to the rescue, we took out the stitches and it’s fixed, luckily the seamstress didn’t cut the fabic.
The jeweler called yesterday, said FH’s ring is ready (custom gemmel/puzzle ring). It was completely WRONG. He said he can’t figure out how to do what we want, even though he said he could. I went home, woke up FH, and we went back together. He’s so good at staying calm and figuring out problems, and he realized the jeweler’s mistake – the ring had one twist, it needs two to fit together (confusing, I know. No time to post pics right now). So I think the jeweler understands the issue, he just has to make it work now. AND THE WEDDING IS SUNDAY.
Then I get to court today (I’m a foster care social worker, there is a trial for one of the families I work with). I’m told I have to testify. I’m like, uh, no, I was never served. It was adjourned for tomorrow, I call my coworker, she’s says, oh yeah, you were served, the boss got it, it’s on your desk. WHAT THE F#CK. THAT’S REALLY F#CKING IMPORTANT INFORMATION. The agency lawyer is meeting me at court tomorrow, but I have to testify, and am sooooo not prepared.
I can’t freaking wait until Sunday night when we leave for our honeymoon. I’m going to have a breakdown. My brother from North Carolina has been in town since LAST FRIDAY and I haven’t seen him yet :`(
I won’t be replying for a while, back to work, I have to go see a kid who hates me. Fun.
