NJ Brides: Know anything about Waterwitch club?

I went to a wedding there, and it was lovely. It was perfect for the hip-and-dreamy vibe the couple was looking for, and I really was happy to finally go to a wedding in New Jersey that wasn’t held in a banquet hall or a hotel ballroom (nothing wrong with those venues, but I really wanted to experience the kind of wedding that is so popular in blogs and magazines these days).

It’s located in a wealthy residential area – the ceremony was on the lawn, and through the shrubbery I could see a house about 50 yards away. Music levels also have to be low – I spent a lot of time during the reception on the back patio and on the lawn, and I hardly could hear any music. The DJ stopped at 9 p.m., on the dot. So yes, they’re very strict about the early end time. But honestly, the beauty of the surroundings is wasted after dark.

A Waterwitch wedding was posted on Green Wedding Shoes this week – have a look!

magazinegirl37:  Can you tell me what the venue cost is? I think it may be out of our price range, but I’d really like to know just in case. I emailed Mark, but he wanted me to call him. No point in going there if it’s completely out of range.

Thanks!

Water Witch was $6600 for the venue fee… but they allow the entire week for set-up, so during the day no limitations except 9:30pm cut off time.
