soon2bkohut:  It would be helpful to know what part of NJ you are in. I took my e-pics in NYC but I’m more into city stuff vs rustic. WHat about the botanical gardens since the leaves will be changing or the castle that’s near Paterson (forget the name) or the grounds around Skylands Manor? There are also barns and farm areas down near Laurita Winery which is about 5-10 minutes from Six Flags.

There’s a really cute farm down here in south Jersey called Johnson’s farm in Medford. I think an apple orchard, pumpkin patch , farm theme would be cute

soon2bkohut:  OMG your venue is gorgeous!!  I’m getting married at Jack’s Barn also in Warren Co. in a few weeks.

Actually, that would be a great place for your engagement pics.  Also an apple orchard, winery, Millrace Inn (in Hope), anywhere in Sussex practically, Walpack Inn, Buttermilk Falls, Wolverton Inn in Stockton, Prallsville Mills.  Those were all places we looked to get married at.  Good luck – keep us posted and I’d love to see pics!!!

Not exactly rustic but what about the Grounds for Sculpture? I was just there this weekend and kept thinking what an awesome photo backdrop it would be

Loved the Stone House.  I looked there for my wedding.  My recommendation for photos is the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown.  You do need to make a reservation for photography.  http://www.arboretumfriends.org
