How many people are you having? There are plenty of restaurants along the waterfront in Weehawken, Hoboken and Jersey City that may fall within that price range.

In Weehawken there is the Sheradon Lincoln Harbor Hotel, but I am not sure of the pricing. Have you looked at the Newark Club?

I looked at Liberty House and Maritime Parc in Jersey City for a Sat night in Sept, and they were both around $185 pp – they may be cheaper for a Friday in March. Both have stunning views of the city.

My cousin got married at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City a few years ago. She got married outside, right by the river with a gorgeous view of the NYC skyline. The reception was upstairs in their ballroom, beautiful views there too! I don’t know exactly how much it might be pp (I read somewhere $135+, but don’t know how reliable that is), but they have a few different packages, and Fri evenings are sure to be cheaper than Sat.

@milissm:  I’m getting married 3/29/13 @ Maritime Parc in JC. They have 2 great spaces one much smaller than the other. im having the ceremony on the 3rd floor and cocktail hr/reception on the 2nd floor. We’re getting married on GoodFriday which is why we got a fairly good price for the type of location. You should def check it out, if only for the views. And the food is excellent too.
