@Rugelach: Congratualtions!
June is a busy month for florits so I would start looking for different vendors right away. 3-6 months in advance is good.
If you don't my a little DIY you can also save some money by going to flower shops (ie flower district on aournd 28th Street in Manhattan).
Best of luck,
Alex

To the Northern NJ/NYC Bees-
How far in advance did you book your florist? I got engaged a week ago, and have a wedding planned for June 2012. We already have a venue, a photog/videographer, an officiant, and have ordered my gown (started planning before the engagement was official). We are working on save the dates and finding a band, but I'm wondering if the florist should be next? Do they book up pretty quickly, or do I still have some time? It is a June wedding, which I know is a busy time for them.
Thanks for any advice you can give!
