You can order chair covers online cheaper and they are delivered to you with return boxes. Their are several linen supply companies that will do it. I was surprised, however, to find that many tent rental places rent white folding chairs with chair pads for only $1.50 each. Why cover the chair when you can just rent pretty chairs? I think that's what we are going to do. Worth looking into for 1/2 the price!
Check the Events Company in Syracuse. They might be pricey also but its worth looking into.

I already know our reception venue only has black padded chairs, which in no way works with my dream vision of our reception room. The couple of places I have checked charge $3.00 and up for chair cover rentals, which seems excessive to me! For our 150 person reception it would be $450 alone for chair covers! Has anyone secured chair rentals for cheaper and/or thought of a DIY way to improve awful chairs without breaking the bank?
