I would try to call once more or contact someone you know in common. If no response I would move on from it.

Honestly I feel you have done enough tracking them down.  If this is causing a lot of stress I would just let it go.  If it’s like water off a ducks back to you, then keep pushing.

You don’t have a lot of options, unfortunately.  If you don’t now anyone that may know them – all you can do is email or call.  I’d give it one or two more tries before giving up completely.
