Ladies, I need some advice!
My sister (MOH and only member of the bridal party) will be throwing me a bridal shower, which I’m sure will be great and I’m looking forward to it. However, I’ve always looked forward to having a bachelorette too. I’m one of the first of my friends to get married, and I don’t think my other girlfriends realize they can step up to the plate and organize something. A couple of them have mentioned looking forward to coming to a bachelorette though. I definitely don’t want to ask anyone to, that seems kind of awkward to me. I just would like one last hurrah/ladies night with my girlfriends. I’m always the organizer/planner, but I wish someone else could help me out this time!
What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Maybe you could send out an email and mention to everyone that you want to plan a night out with all of your girlfriends later this fall because you need a night of fun admidst all of the wedding planning craziness. You could ask for everyone’s availability. But don’t use the words “bachelorette party.” Maybe one of your friends will hear this and realize “oh this could be her bachelorette party!” and start rallying the troops and take over the planning. I don’t know …. just thinking out loud.
Not sure what would happen if your friends don’t make the connection or take the hint. I guess at the very least you would have a fun night out with everyone, even if it isn’t an official bachelorette party.
