You could have your officiant hold onto them.

I wouldn’t give them to the flower girls (no way, Jose!) but the mom idea could be really sweet too!

I agree that the officiant could bring them rings out.

DH’s brother held them. He sat in the front row of the ceremony. He got up and brought them up when he was cued to.

I would say officiant or it may be appropriate to have one of your parents participate. We didn’t do that, but during the unity candle we had out mother’s light the tapers then we took them and lit the candle. Somewhere along the same lines.

DH kept them in his pocket and then when it was time for them set them both on the book the officiant was holding. We each took our ring off the book when it was our turn.

The groom could have both in his pocket or you could hold each others’ rings.  Maybe tie his to your bouquet or wear it on your thumb?

Wrapped around my bouquet was the ribbon DH had my engagement ring on, so I like the idea of rings around the flowers.

I would give them to whoever is serving as official witness to the marriage license. It’s usually the best man’s role both to keep an eye on the rings and to sign off on the license anyway. So even though they are not called “best man,” someone is acting as de facto best man/woman by virtue of being your witness – have that person/those people do it.

We also had the officiant hold them.
