We are doing a destination wedding to Niagara Falls in July. It is a small wedding with only 16 guests. I had no plans of decorating, but the closer I get, the more I wonder if it will look bare? We are getting married in a gazebo overlooking the falls. The hotel didn’t have any pictures of this venue set up with chairs, so I have no idea what they even look like, or what it looks like beyond the pictues I have here. Do you guys think it will be ok to not decorate? It will be a short ceremony, 20 min.

renmich88: With a lovely view like that, I don’t think decorations are necessary.

You’re getting married not far from where I live (I’m getting married out of state where I grew up though). Such a pretty place for a wedding! Decorations would take away from the beautiful scenery. I would just get a really beautiful bouquet. If you want you can do some petals down the aisle, but more than that would be overkill

I don’t think you need anything at all in such a stunning setting!
We are having a DW in the italian lakes and won’t be decorating our ceremony ‘venue’ either 🙂
