stay away from disney cruises. all kids, no gambling. i love royal caribbean. i hear norwegian is good too!princess was a little too "mature" (old people)
Disney and Carnival cruiselines are more family-oriented. I would go with Royal Carribean.
We just got back from the Caribbean in February on Holland America - virtually no kids, but getting stuck behind all the walkers and oxygen tanks while trying to get around the ship was kind of a PITA.
We LOVE princess cruises... and we are 26... They limit the number of children on each cruise, and usually keep them veyr busy with cruise activities, that you rarely see them. We found Disney and Royal Caribbean WAYYY too full of children for my liking (I'm a child protection worker... seeing one nagry or frustrated parent take something out on their child can RUIN my vacation instantly!!) We have been on 9 cruises, and Princess is BY FAR our favourite when it comes to less children :)
Princess and Holland America would be good choices. SilverSea won't have children, but is very pricey.
Have you looked at Celebrity??
Im not sure where you are looking to go but we are going to Breezes Bahamas. Its an all inclusive resort we are staying 7 nights & including our flight it is under $2200! Some of the reviews I saw were not great but it seemed like more of the people were expecting a 5* hotel with a 3* price. My parents stayed there a few years ago and had nothing but great things to say about it. I figure even if the hotel rooms are not AMAZING I don’t plan on spending my trip in my room! and its no kids!
Some of the palace resorts in Mexico are adults only and geared towards couples only, and they aren't that unreasonable for prices. Plus the resorts are amazing!!!!!!
I would keep a close watch on resort prices instead of a cruise - there are a LOT of nice AI's that are child free. PM me if you need some website suggestions for email lists, if you haven't signed up for them already.

This is not referring to the reception but instead the honeymoon. We want a spot that is going to be couples only but unfortunately we really can't afford a resort. So instead, we are looking at cruises. Yes, yes, there are kids on boats.
In your experience have you found some cruises to be less crowded with children or some that we should stay away from? We are getting married at the end of July if that helps and are heading south.
