You are far more patient than me!!! He knows the only thing i want for Christmas is a proposal, so i'm not even looking forward to opening my presents since he said i wont get one yet and i need to be patient.
Seriously i have to stop myself from crying this morning because i think i have been patient enough!!
Ugh it seems like the holidays are the hardest when waiting for a proposal. I've just been miserable. I'm glad your keeping positive though!
My fiance was totally against proposing on a date that's associated with any holiday (Christmas, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, birthday). In retrospect, I'm so happy he turned a relatively insignificant day on the calendar into a big day for us.
Hang in there! The good news is that there's a plan in the works! Hooray!!!
We're in the same boat! (: It really bothered me at first but I don't want to look back and see that I let it ruin my Christmas. I totally get what you mean though, it's so hard not to speculate and think about it all the time haha. Here's hoping neither of us have to wait much longer (:
Hang in there! I actually was proposed to near Christmas and I would have actually preferred for it to not happen that way because you share that special day with so many others. There's nothing wrong with sharing, but if it happens on a more random day, it feels like you have a special day that's more all yours. :)

So I couldn't help myself and ended up asking SO to tell me if I could maybe expect a proposal over our Chrissy holiday cos I was sort of hopeful and didn't want to be disappointed.
He was horrified I was asking him because he says it has to be a surprise. He then went on to say that organizing things takes time and I just need to be patient but that it will happen soon. But no proposal for Christmas.
Oh well.
I was pretty upset to start with because I really thought it would happen then, but it sounds like he has some plan up his sleeve and I don't want to ruin it.
It will happen, I just have to be patient and wait! (Or rather, continue waiting... :p)
Right now I'm just glad to have all the family (and SO) together for Christmas.
The proposal will come eventually, I guess I just have to continue looking forward to it and try not to think about it anymore...
