No Days OFF Challenge

@BreezyBride24:  i can appreciate the determination and motivation that this would take, but your body needs rest days.  to push it that many days in a row without a break definitely is not ideal.  if you are adamant on taking no days off, at least take easy days.  your body will appreciate it…so will your kidneys :  )

@BreezyBride24:  Perhaps commit to at least one day doing light exercise out of the gym each week. I started off last year with the same commitment and after a month or so I was starting to burn out (to the point I got ill). 

Yes, it’s great to try to be active but leave a couple of days a week to just walking (and ideally walking in the great outdoors rather than a gym).

I would be really worried about burn out…

But as long as 1-3 days a week are light exercise (let’s say 30 minutes of walking as opposed to an hour of lifting and the elliptical on heavier days), your muscles should be fine.

Good luck! And if you hurt anything, make sure to let it rest!

I personally wouldn’t take part in this simply because I would either burn out or get sick of the sight of the gym and never go back!

However as you said you will incorporate rest days in by attending yoga or aquatics which sounds great. I just think I’d get fed up of actually going to the gym, I enjoy my nights off and being able to go home and do other things and see FI.

I really hope you can do it though and see positive results : ))

@BreezyBride24:  3 friends and I have created a ‘support group’ on facebook to keep each other motivated.  3 are trying to lose babyweight, I’m trying to get fit for the wedding dress.

We note things we ate, the workouts we did etc – it’s been good so far, seeing that everyone else worked out makes me more inclined to, same as when I posted that I’d done my workout others said – okay, time to get off my butt, bibbleskip’s done hers.

I’ve done 2 days of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, yesterday my arms/shoulders were pretty sore so I had a cardio day.  I’m starting easy with 20 minute workouts at home and we’ll build up and increase.  I have a hard time sticking to things so my little group is working well!

@BreezyBride24:  Wow! Not to be creepy but I see a difference in your arms and butt, it looks lifted…I’ve been trying to cut out sugar and processed stuff too. It’s hard but I know what you mean about the cravings dying down.
