I have no flower girl for my wedding i have my nephew who will be 2 doing the rings, but i have no little girl to do the flower girl. Is this weird? Has anyone ever run into this? I just dont know if it will look funny.

I had three flower girls and no ring bearer. I think it’s cute if you have both but it worked out for us with just the flower girls. I don’t think it will look funny at all.

We’re not having any kids at our wedding save for our son, who will be our ring bearer. No flowergirl either. It’s not weird

@ChelleBell1: No flower girl in my wedding either. It happens no big deal.

@ChelleBell1: I have at least three flower girls, and now the ring bearer’s mother might not let him come (because she’s CRAZY). Sooooo yeah I think maybe I’ll have my cat do it? That seems like a good plan, right?
@HisIrishPrincess: Who brought the rings down the aisle? Or did you guys just have them in your pocket or something?

Hes actually the only child at the wedding and hes not coming to the reception..chances are hell run off and hide instead of walking down the alise so i wont stress it lol!

We had no child attendants at all. The best man just held the rings, no big deal, and I don’t think anybody really missed them.

@ChelleBell1: I’ve seen a wedding where there was only a ring bearer. I will not have either for my wedding.

We’re having an intimate wedding in Rarotonga, with family and a few friends. No kids. No ring bearer, or flower girl. Not a big deal! 🙂

We’re having my sister as MOH and that’s it – no bridesmaids, no groomsmen, no flower girls, no ring bearers. Maybe that’s weird, but I decided I don’t care 🙂

No child attendants at all. Definitely not weird.

@peachacid: The best man had them in his pocket. The FG’s were all about the same age, and I wasn’t about to start making one or two more important than the others.

@ChelleBell1: I don’t think it’s weird. At my first wedding, I didn’t have a flower girl or a ring bearer. I actually thought more people were not using kids in the wedding these days (at least my group of friends don’t).

Not weird at all. We aren’t having any children attendants at all. My MOH will have my FI’s ring, and the BM will have mine.

Nope. Not weird. We are just having a ring bearer, who will be 3. We dont have any other girls between 3-10 in my family that are invited. My niece is 11 and my junior bridesmaid, so she will be escorting my nephew down the aisle. Or she’ll hold some candy at the end of the aisle and beg for him to come… just kidding! 🙂
