Hey ya'll I'm new here and I'm really really *really* hoping ya'll can help me out a little!  I am working diligently on our ceremony music and I have everything (even edited and cut down) except for a recessional song.  None of our songs are traditional, but I'm running out of steam on the idea train here!  I like *some* country music but these days too much of it is about being a redneck, what happened to the days when it was about rodeos and the great west and love stories?! Anyways, I am a huge fan of classic rock and southern rock.  I love the Beatles, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, John Mellencamp etc So far all of the music is an instrumental version of the song.  Here's what we've got so far:

Grandmothers and Mothers: Keeper of the Stars (country) Tracy Byrd

Processional: Kim by Brad Paisley (there are no words it is just an instrumental song he composed for his wife)

Bride's Entrance:  Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones

Completion of Family (we have a son who will walk down to this after we exchange rings): I Will by Allison Krauss

*disclaimer:  it is only by coincidence that 3 of the 4 are country and the one that isn't is titled Wild Horses I honestly wasn't going for a theme here!

Anyways I need help for a recessional song!  I thought about Small Town by JCM, but I'm just not sure!  It just needs to be upbeat and by an artist I like.

I like Gary Allen, Dwight Yoakem, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash

I like the Beach Boys, Bob Seger, The Cars...it goes on and on

Let's just put it this way, I'm not into pop music or anything too strange...

My fiance loves classic and southern rock.

How about "Sweet Inspiration" by Derek Trucks?

"We Are the Champions" - Queen ;) I think it's a pretty cute/funny one for a recessional! (We might use it for a grand entrance... we're already doing the Zombies' "This Will Be Our Year" for the recessional).

"All You Need is Love" by the Beatles would make a great one. "I Got You, Babe" by Sonny and Cher would be hilarious. We are using "L.O.V.E." by Nat King Cole.
