My fiance and I are really on a tight budget, I may consider just nixing the flowers for the centerpieces all together and just having flowers for the bridal party, Mothers, Fathers, etc. Is there a florist in the Pittsburgh area with reasonable prices? What is an average cost for a wedding? I would plan on 17 tables, plus our sweetheart table for centerpieces.

@MegG920: Are you crafty enough to try to DIY it? I am ordering fresh roses from Sam’s Club and making the bouquets and centerpieces myself. It’s costing me around $100 for four bouquets and 10 centerpieces.

Candles make awesome centerpieces……
For my shower i used only candles for the centerpieces….
I went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of champagne and martini glasses. I filled them with water and used floating candles. I also turned some of the glasses upside down and used the stem of the glass as a place to hold tea candles.
Google candle only centerpieces…. you can probably do a centerpiece for under 10 dollars per table……
