I like how she didn't listen to you even after you told her twice..... Sounds like she just wanted a bit of gossip to pass around and took it. People are weird.
I think I would be less pissed of if she did not ask me of it was my FI's and that "things happen..."
No, Things do not happen!! If you're in a relationship, you don't sleep around! I am just like...WTF? I never earned my Ho card.... Really the olny guy I have been with is my FI, So I am like... no..... ( I don't count my Ex... he liked to take without asking...:/)
Ok, she heard what she wanted to hear. The comment about "things happen" was just slimey. Now, if I were a mean person... Eff it, I'm a mean person. There must be a way to use her stupidity to your advantage. What kind of work do you do?

I'd be asking her to do a lot of lifting. Oh, but never discount the moodswing option. I'd have her afraid to fart, much less hold a conversation with me if I was working the same shift.
My cell phone has been blowing up all morning.....
I don't even know how to to about doing damage control.... And I can't yell at the people wishin me congrats.... They mean well I guess.
Not to be a pot stirrer, but isn't that a form of harassment? Spreading rumors that make you uncomfortable? Just a thought.

I would say something to the girl directly. "I told you twice I'm not pregnant, and you apparently didn't believe me and started a false rumor. Either make it right, or you are getting reported."
Fuck that, I wouldn't just leave it alone. That steams me so bad that she would be that rude
Oh my gosh! I can't beleive he would start a rumour like that.. right in front of you, and then another would just keep going with it even after you denied it! I am so sorry you are going through that.
I hope the girl realizes that she has caused you to be upset. Maybe let her know that you are upset.. and try to do it without becoming angry and stooping to her level.

It sounds like she's really stupid. I think when people ask if you're pregnant you should be like, "Oh no you must have misheard her, she told me SHE was pregnant...and just between you and me, the father isn't even the guy she's dating!"
Is it possible she has a crush on your FI? Maybe she really wants him to dump you.
That's really rough though, I'm sorry. My mom started telling everyone I was pregnant when my medication made me put on weight. She asked them to pray for me. I just said, "Aw, thanks for praying for me :) But really, there's absolutely no chance I'm pregnant, so perhaps you should pray for my mom instead."
I am not so mad at Rob, he actually feels really bad, and he ment it just to get a reaction out of me, not for it to go so far.
The lady who texted me this morning is a manager so she is in trouble.

I think I am pissed off. I might just be tired and cranky because I jsut got off of work, but bear with me. I was on tonight with Rob. Rob is an older guy, but is still really nice. I was going off about my dislike of children and my at the moment desire to not want one ever. I got all the lines from him tonight, You'll change your mind, your FI wants children, who will take care of you when you are old... yada yada yada. We were going back and forth, rather good naturely because he was just being an ass and he told me that i was gonna be an octo-mom. I told him he was an asshole and not to curse me.
One of the servers walked in and asked what I we were talking about and Rob goes " Birdies pregnant." The server dropped the salad she was carrying. "NO I'm NOT, Rob is being an Ass."
"You're really pregnant? Does Mr. Birdie know? Is it Mr. Birdies?"
Excuse me? Seriously, you asked me if I was pregnant, AFTER I told you no... and then you ask me who's baby it is? Who's elce's would it be?
I smiled at her and told her again... No, I am not prego. Rob is being an ass, and If i was prego... it would definity be my FI's.
"Oh, well, you know ... things happen."
I just got a text from one of the managers, who doesn't sleep like a normal person saying, "Congrats!"
"For what?"
"Server said you are having a baby."
"Nope. I even told her that."
" oh."
