I didn’t do inner envelopes. We just addressed the outer envelope to who was invited and put how many seats we had reserved for them on our RSVP cards.

we did it two ways:

a.  Envelope address to “the X family” and rsvp card had the appropriate number of seats for the entire family

OR

b.  For couples where the female kept her name:

     mrs. X and Mr. Y
     Miss daughter
     Master son
     Street Address
     City, State, Zip

and included the appropriate number of seats on the rsvp card.

We put whoever was invited on the envelope.  So for example my BM is invited with her DH and two kids so I wrote the The last name family.  If it was a guest and their SO we wrote Mr and Mrs last name or Mr last name and Ms last name.  We didn’t do + 1’s for guests who didn’t already have an SO so we just wrote their name only the invite.  If a family was invited and the kids were over 18 then we sent them seperate invites.  Hope this helps!!!!!
