Ok, so I have to go back to work fairly soon and my prior work pants DO NOT fit yet. However, I do plan on working out again once I get back to work. I have done nothing except care for baby at home since I had my daughter. Sooo instead of buying new pants that fit me right now, I am considering just wearing my maternity pants back to work……but really don’t want to! Am I the only one who is doing this? Ha!
Not mention a lot of my work shirts don’t fit now either, thanks to my BF’ing chest!

I’m not there yet (due in two weeks), but I’m pretty sure I’ll do the same thing. No shame in that! You created a whole city in your stomach for a single occupant. Obviously it’ll take time to get your body back!

Although I am back to my pre-preg weight, everything is different! I can hardly button my pre-preg pants, which makes them super uncomfortable to sit in all day. I’ve been wearing dresses (those I can fit into and I live in Florida so it’s still appropriate temperature-wise) or first tri-pants, without the full panel, until I buy a pair or two in a size up 🙁
I’m going to have to lose an addtional 10-20 pounds to fit back into my old clothes, I think. Boo.

I know, I guess it’s more just the thought of wearing maternity pants with no baby in there! Ha!

Yeah, still wearing them! I can’t spend the money on new pants yet! I really need to start working to get in my old pants, though.

@BoraBora: I wore maternity pants for like 6 months post baby.

This post makes me feel better. I just started work again yesterday and I’m in my maternity pants. They’re the only thing that fit me comfortably right now. I can squeeze into my old pants (work and jeans) but they’re skin tight and leave quite the muffin top. Not cute.

@BoraBora: Wow, right now I’m the only vote for bought new pants. After my first baby, I went immediately after leaving the hospital, to go to the store to buy bigger pants. Baby was still in the hospital under the bilibubin lights for jaundice. Being pregnant wasn’t fun or happy for me so I was more than ready to get into normal clothes.
